Bath Spa University Alumni / graduates progressing to a Taught Master’s (e.g. MA, MSc, MRes, MMus) could be eligible to receive between £1,400 and £1,600 towards the cost of tuition fees.

Value: £1,400, £1,500 or £1,600, depending on fee band of your chosen Taught Master’s degree course:

  • Fee band 1 (£7,195 for UK/EU students) - classroom based fields - eligible for scholarship of £1,400
  • Fee band 2 (£7,395 for UK/EU students) - laboratory / studio based fields - eligible for scholarship of £1,500
  • Fee band 3 (£7,995* for UK/EU students) - Bath School of Art and Design - eligible for scholarship of £1,600

*Some of our Taught Master's course fees are set at £7,600; these are eligible for a £1,500 scholarship. Please note that International graduates may also be eligible for this scholarship. See Taught Master's course fees for International students.


The scholarship is available to any Bath Spa graduate (undergraduate or PGCE) progressing onto a Taught Master's degree (e.g. MA, MSc, MRes, MMus).

No application is necessary and the scholarship will be applied as a fee waiver.

If you're a part-time student, you'll receive the scholarship on a pro-rated basis according to the module weighting.

Please note that students progressing onto a PGCE course from undergraduate study will not be eligible to receive the Alumni scholarship. Those considering a PGCE may instead be eligible for the Bath Spa Teacher Thank You Scholarship.
